Samphire is a succulent salt-tolerant plant which can be eaten raw, fried or boiled as a great flavour addition to dishes.
Commonly cooked alongside fish and chicken it can also be a great addition to any vegetarian dish.
Samphire is quite salty so tends to be steamed or boiled for a short period to remove some of the salt.
